"Cher"

On the conformation side, Cher earned her UCI Int’l Puppy Ch with her co-owner Jolene Hicks before she came to live with us in Canada. The following spring she earned her UKC Championship in April 2014 at the age of 10 months. She achieved her UCI Junior Ch and KC-USA Junior Ch titles in July 2014, and then went on to win BISS and BOSS at the Ohio Classic Specialty in September 2014, which earned her ISWS Championship at the young age of 15 months!

On the performance side, Cher earned her CGN just after her first birthday in July 2014. She passed her designated odour tests in May and December of 2014 and earned her SDDA Sporting Detection – Started Level title in May 2015. Cher earned her Novice Trick Dog title in January 2016 and achieved her Intermediate Trick Dog title in April 2016. Cher achieved her CARO Rally Novice title in November 2016 with a special designation of Magna Cum Laude, signifying that her scores were all in excess of 190/200. Most recently, in April 2018, Cher earned her URO1 UKC Rally obedience title.  In the same show, she also won Reserve Champion in her class, thereby earning her the honour of being named "Total Dog".  Cher is the second female Silken Windhound in Canada to earn this title, after her housemate Willow.  Cher is certified by CARA to race in both Straight Racing and Oval Track and is the #2 straight track female racer in Canada.
